At HPE Discover Las Vegas 2025, HPE announced a transformational vision for hybrid IT operations through GreenLake Intelligence, a new agentic AI framework for hybrid operations. With a unified infusion of agentic AIOps across nearly every infrastructure layer, HPE is transforming GreenLake cloud into an agentic-AI-powered hybrid cloud.
The enterprise is entering a new AI-native era. Every organisation wants to innovate faster—but most are constrained by legacy infrastructure, growing technical debt, and the complexity of managing sprawling hybrid environments. The intersection of AIOps and agentic AI presents an opportunity for organisations to overcome these legacy challenges and transform operations.
“HPE is reimagining hybrid IT as only we can, catapulting organisations from the era of hybrid complexity to the era of agentic-AI-powered cloud operations,” said Antonio Neri, President and CEO of HPE. “HPE’s new vision for hybrid IT is fuelled by agentic intelligence at every layer of infrastructure so enterprises can realise their boldest ambitions and achieve previously impossible levels of IT operations performance and efficiency.”
Next-Gen Capabilities for Unified Cloud Management
The new GreenLake Intelligence agentic AI framework sets a bold vision for transforming hybrid IT through a unified hybrid cloud operating model powered by agentic AIOps. Built from the ground up and integrated across HPE’s full hybrid cloud technology stack, GreenLake Intelligence addresses siloed workflows, troubleshooting delays, and underutilised resources—lightening the load for overstretched IT teams.
Accessed via GreenLake Copilot, AI agents communicate and reason with context in real time across storage, networking, compute, and virtualised resources, including cost operations, sustainability, and business services.
HPE Aruba Networking integrates agentic mesh technology into Aruba Networking Central, with a new multimodal, conversational networking copilot providing guided remediation for complex network and security issues.
OpsRamp’s operations copilot, launched in 2024, now enables agentic automation across full-stack infrastructure. It supports human-in-the-loop oversight with conversational help, alerts, and incident response. The multi-domain system will drive use cases like root-cause analysis, explainability, and capacity planning.
HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000 will feature agentic AI capabilities, supporting MCP servers for orchestration through natural-language interfaces. These systems will ensure AI workflows receive actionable unstructured data and metadata insights.
HPE enhances GreenLake services with FinOps and sustainability tools. New workload and capacity optimisers now manage HPE and third-party infrastructure, improving cost efficiency and resilience.
Consumption analytics improvements include spend anomaly alerts and cost-based infrastructure recommendations. The HPE Sustainability Insight Center adds predictive forecasting and carbon monitoring.
HPE CloudOps Suite and Financing Fuel Modernisation
The new HPE CloudOps Software suite includes OpsRamp, Morpheus Enterprise, and Zerto Software—delivering automation, governance, data protection, and cyber resilience across multivendor environments.
HPE Services now offer end-to-end lifecycle support from consulting through operations, while CloudOps is available as an HPE-managed service.
HPE CloudPhysics Plus, a new assessment tool, provides deep insights into workload placement, asset use, and modernisation opportunities across cloud-native and legacy infrastructure.
Additionally, HPE launches Cloud Commit, a flexible purchasing program that provides predictable investment and added value for GreenLake customers.
HPE Financial Services offers zero-percent financing for CloudOps and other software with cost spread over three years, including Alletra Storage with no payments for two months. Their lifecycle services also support sustainable decommissioning of older technology.
