New Zealand Justice Ministry logs on IT

CINCINNATI: Seapine Software, a provider of quality-centric application lifecycle management (ALM) solutions, announced that the New Zealand Ministry of Justice has implemented Seapine’s QA Wizard Pro and TestTrack Studio products to better manage its service-related, applications testing and quality assurance processes. These solutions allow the Ministry of Justice to automate and streamline the testing of applications, improve team collaboration, and closely control the development and delivery of quality applications, says a press release.

The quality assurance (QA) team at the Ministry of Justice is using QA Wizard Pro to automate the testing of its service-related applications. The QA team indicates that QA Wizard Pro has helped to significantly reduce the application testing time from four hours to eleven minutes, while enabling the team to deliver higher-quality applications. The QA team is also using TestTrack Studio, which is comprised of Test Track Pro for issue management and TestTrack TCM for test case management, to track and manage all details of their testing efforts, adds the press release.

In addition to the quality assurance benefits, the QA team at the New Zealand Ministry of Justice can now maintain a complete audit trail of issues found during application testing and track the resolution of these issues for closed-loop accountability. The QA team uses TestTrack’s audit trail logging to record the information that is modified when an issue changes. The QA team is also using TestTrack to create customized workflows to manage testing and QA processes and electronic signatures to track who modifies issues.
