BANGALORE, INDIA: Graphics applications company Corel Corporation has introduced CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5, in the Indian market. The new version includes around 50 new features, and enhancements to asset management, color management, and web graphics,
Aimed at users in a wide variety of industries including sign making, graphic design, fashion/apparel design, wide format printing, marketing, print production and small business, the new release will start shipping before March next year.
“Throughout the development cycle for CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5, our team worked hand-in-hand with our user community to ensure we were delivering the new features and enhancements that would make a meaningful difference to them. We wanted to truly understand what they loved about the product and what they needed to make their experience that much better,” said Gerard Metrailler, Senior Director of Product Management, Graphics, for Corel at the India launch. “We believe we’ve delivered a product that enables our current users to discover new possibilities with the suite while allowing new users to get up and running quickly and create projects with confidence.”
Corel Corporation also announced initiatives to educate and prepare qualified professionals for careers in industries related to graphics such as like printing, publishing, advertising, desktop publishing, multimedia, design, animation and web design. it has already launched this program in India and along with their distributors Aditya Infotech Ltd., has tied up with leading training institutes in the country to setup Corel Authorised Training Centers.
