SAN FRANCISCO,USA: VoiceCon today announced a lineup of major news announcements that will be made at VoiceCon San Francisco 2009.

VoiceCon, produced by TechWeb, is recognized as the leading conference and exhibition for enterprise decision-makers who are evaluating their options for migrating to IP Telephony, Converged Networks and Unified Communications. The event provides a unique venue for solution providers to showcase their new product or service offerings and is happening November 2-5 at the Moscone North Convention Center.

The exhibitors making announcements at VoiceCon San Francisco 2009 will continue to grow as the event nears, and currently includes the following:

911 Enable now offers automatic IP softphone tracking to reduce administrative burden and simplify phone management for E911 purposes. Layer 2 and/or layer 3 discovery is available for most IP softphones, including those provided by Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft, ShoreTel, and 3Com.

Advanced American Telephones, manufacturer of AT&T home and office telephony products under a licensing agreement, will introduce its new system for small-to-medium businesses requiring up to 50 phone extensions. Designed to provide a simple, affordable and customizable solution for SMBs, the offering will be available through major distributors in November.

Alcatel-Lucent launches expanded capabilities of its comprehensive Unified Communications solution - OmniTouch My Instant Communicator (MiC).
