New UC products expected at VoiceCon

SAN FRANCISCO,USA: VoiceCon today announced a lineup of major news announcements that will be made at VoiceCon San Francisco 2009.

911 Enable now offers automatic IP softphone tracking to reduce administrative burden and simplify phone management for E911 purposes. Layer 2 and/or layer 3 discovery is available for most IP softphones, including those provided by Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft, ShoreTel, and 3Com.

Advanced American Telephones, manufacturer of AT&T home and office telephony products under a licensing agreement, will introduce its new system for small-to-medium businesses requiring up to 50 phone extensions. Designed to provide a simple, affordable and customizable solution for SMBs, the offering will be available through major distributors in November.

Alcatel-Lucent launches expanded capabilities of its comprehensive Unified Communications solution - OmniTouch My Instant Communicator (MiC). Now available on most popular mobile devices, MiC gives employees access to people/information/resources regardless of work location. Addressing the increase of mobility in the workplace, MiC helps enterprises save money, increase productivity and responsiveness.

Avistar, continuing to lead and revolutionize the industry, will introduce the Avistar C3 Integrator - Citrix Edition, bringing desktop visual communications to Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop. Additionally, Avistar will release Avistar C3 Unified(TM) - OCS Edition powering Microsoft OCS with a feature rich, scalable and interoperable desktop visual communications experience.

Grandstream is pleased to announce two new next generation surveillance cameras at VoiceCon. The GXV3601_HD is a 720P HD network camera with state- H.264 video compression and industry leading SIP/VoIP capabilities.
