New smartphone launches in May, Lumia 925, Panasonic P51 and more

BANGALORE, INDIA: A slew of new affordable mobile phones have been released this month from International hardware sellers and home grown companies which are mostly targeted in younger generation. While Nokia has come out with new version of Lumia phone with metallic body the new Panasonic smartphone is water proof. Here are some of them:

Stellar Horizon Pro Mi 505

Mobile Internet company S Mobility on Thursday unveiled Stellar Horizon Pro Mi 505, an Android based dual-sim smartphone on 3G platform, priced at Rs 8,499.

Horizon Pro has a 5 mega-pixel rear camera and a front-facing 1.3 MP camera with storage space of 4GB, which is expandable up to 32 GB through a micro SD card. With a 9.6 mm slim body and a 12.7cm WVGA capacitive touch screen, this ICS based smartphone is powered by a 1GHz Dual Core processor.

While the 2100 mAh strong battery supports up to 4 hours talk-time and a stand-by of 200 hours, the device comes along with a free leather cover and a screen guard, worth Rs. 500.

Stellar Horizon Pro Mi-505 will be available across India through all major retail stores.

Panasonic P51

Panasonic India released P51 during third week of May. The Panasonic smartphone is targeted at the young generation - the always-on-the-go college youth, and the premium executive class, who is always on the lookout for better, faster and savvier smartphones on the go!

The Panasonic P51 is a premium Android smartphone with sleek design and brings HD experience to a 5 inch screen with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. Powered by a Quad Core1.2GHz processor and running on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), the P51 comes with a magnetic flip-cover stylus offering comfort and convenience to the consumer.
