Features: NEC India Pvt. Ltd (NECI), launched its
three latest NP projectors, a range of lightweight projectors weighing no more
than 1.6 kilograms and shoot up to 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness.
NEC's three new DLP projectors - the NP40, the NP50, and the NP60 - feature a
state of art cooling system. This system uses a cooling pump, to pump high
pressure high velocity air around the lamp dramatically improving the cooling
efficiency. With the new cooling system, the body can be further reduced in size
compared with ordinary projectors that use a single cooling fan. Measuring only
246 mm x 72 mm x 177 mm, the NP60 is one of the world's smallest 3,000 ANSI
lumens projector and therefore ideally suited for mobile use, a NEC statement
said.
“The NEC NP40/50/60 portable projectors are ideal for the traveling presenter,
such as a consultant, sales representative or trainer, who relies heavily on the
smooth and dynamic delivery of visual content as being critical to their
professional success.” said Sanjay Dhuria, country manager.
The 1,024 x 768 XGA resolution and high contrast ratio of 1,500 : 1 for the NP40
and 1,600 : 1 in the NP50 and NP60, guarantee brilliant image rendition. All
three projectors have a long list of features. The only difference between the
NP40 and NP50 and the top model is their slightly lower brightness levels of
2,200 and 2,600 ANSI lumens respectively. The 'Quick Start' and
'Direct-Power-Off' functions shorten waiting periods before and after
presentations.
For users who prefer manual operation: manual fine-tuning has now been made even
easier and more precise. Automatic wall colour correction ensures colour
reliability when projecting onto colored backgrounds and automatic digital
keystone correction gives users more freedom when selecting a location for the
projector. All three models come with a remote control and a soft case.
All the new projectors will be available by December 2006 through authorised NEC
distributors/dealers.
Price: The NEC
NP40, NP50, NP60 are available at Rs 84,900.00/-,Rs104, 900.00/- and Rs139,
000.00/- respectively, excluding VAT and local levies.
