New Mobile VoIP Service in Brazil

ISRAEL: AudioCodes, a provider of Voice over IP (VoIP) technologies and Voice Network products, in collaboration with MailVision, has announced that Nexus Telecom, a Brazilian CLEC and VoIP operator, has selected AudioCodes' VoIP Mobile Access Solutions (VMAS) technology to support the deployment of new mobile SIP applications, targeting millions of subscribers both internal and external to Brazil.

The VMAS platform and client enable Nexus Telecom to provide services for its business, residential and roaming subscribers who are now able to initiate voice calls and send text messages (SMS) over any WiFi or 3G data connection, using a variety of mobile smart phones in HD VoIP quality and at highly cost-effective rates. The Mobile SIP Client is interoperable with all major SIP Softswitches and Gateways.
