New mobile messaging for car services

MUMBAI, INDIA: MeriCAR.com, an online car servicing web portal announced on Wednesday that it has joined ValueFirst, a provider in mobile messaging services, to provide betters facilities for car owners to send inquiries using Mobile Messaging.

The car portal would enable as easy search for a dealer in the locality, register and send inquiries. The website would be using ValueFirst’s application to send SMS to its customers that would ensure easy accessibility to car servicing solutions, MeriCAR added.

ValueFirst APIs would work with MeriCAR application layer to send enquiries on the SMS to car service dealers. Car dealers would be informed about car servicing enquiries through SMS and email.

"Large enterprises where the requirements are too complex and varied can incorporate the API function calls in their CRM / ERP applications. This SMS gateway API will enable high performance of MeriCAR.com,” said, Vijay Shukla, co-founder and country head, ValueFirst.

He said this application is cost effective, using IP connectivity to reduce costs and dependence on any specific mobile network It would also enable high bandwidth connectivity and provides customers with high message security through the implementation of 128-bit algorithm based encryption for all traffic, Vijay Shukla added.
