New Field Mobility Soln by DecisionPoint Systems

FOOTHILL RANCH,USA:DecisionPoint Systems, Inc.,a provider of enterprise mobility solutions, today announced that it has successfully delivered an integrated and fully customized mobile tracking solution to several hundred drivers for Corporate Transit of America, a regional courier and logistics company based in Little Rock, AR.

The mobile tracking system was a key component to Corporate Transit of America winning a large contract with a major new customer.

According to a press release, within 60 days, DecisionPoint worked with Corporate Transit of America to customize and deploy CXT Software's X Mobile application to several hundred Motorola MC55 mobile computers that each one of their drivers uses. This created an operational tracking system that enabled bar code scanning, signature capture and chain of custody tracking when combined with CXT Software's X Mobile offering.
