BANGALORE, INDIA: A couple of Google's data centres in Asia will be operational in 2013, according to a report on The Economic Times, making its services faster in this region.
"Work on these centres - Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong - began in 2011. While the Singapore facility is expected to be completed in early 2013, the Taiwan one is scheduled to be up and running by the second half. Google, which is spending about $300 million (about Rs 1,600 crore now) on the centres, has not yet given a clear timeframe for completing the Hong Kong facility," says the report
