Dr. Mark Jamison, Director of PURC and Director of Telecommunications Studies at the University of Florida presented the keynote address on the impact of global ICT. The conference also featured presentations, breakout sessions, and panel discussions focused on: technical integrity, financial accuracy, customer support, wireless mobility management, strategic organizational support; strategies for effective management; establishing metrics for managing telecom assets; selecting the right technology, and evaluating and implementing enterprise TEM programs.

“The conference was a success and attendees confirmed that enterprises are seeking solid strategies for more efficient management of telecom and IT services,” said Tim Lybrook, AOTMP’s President and CEO. “This year, we put an increased on focus wireless mobility management, and what we’ve learned through our research efforts was echoed at the conference –- it is an area that enterprises are struggling to keep under control.”

TEM 2008 is the telecom management industry’s premier educational event, and focuses exclusively on improving enterprise telecom management and building effective relationships between TEM solution providers and end users. “As more organizations are facing economic survival, they need to take a look at TEM as part of their solution,” said conference speaker and attendee Mercedes Ward, Principle Analyst of Clark County Nevada. “This year’s conference again delivered great information for enterprise TEM.”
