Features: Trend Micro India has announced Network VirusWall Enforcer,
its second-generation enterprise class Network Access Control (NAC) appliance,
which ensures all devices to comply with security policies before granting
access to corporate networks. Trend Micro, a Tokyo-based corporation, is a
provider of network antivirus and Internet content security software and
services.
Malav Patel, Global Product Marketing Manager, Network VirusWall, said that
“the new product integrates all aspects of NAC with anti-worm capabilities in
to one simple appliance. Network VirusWall Enforcer is easily deployable and
with minimum burden in large enterprise networks around the world. It also help
ensure that employees, contractors, partners and visitors connect to corporate
networks using a secure, virus-free device,” Patel said.
Niraj Kaushik, country manager, Trend Micro India and SAARC said that security
compliance is a big issue in organisations today and just having policies is not
enough. “A recent study has revealed that more than 70 per cent of Indian
corporate still do not have formal corporate security policy. Organisations need
the ability to enforce those policies and to be able to demonstrate that the
enforcement is systematic,” Kaushik added.
