Netgear intros high performance switches

MUMBAI, INDIA: Rashi Peripherals announced the availability of Netgear ProSafe FSM7226RS and FSM726E fully managed 10/100 switches, expanding its existing range of Netgear ProSafe FSM series L2/L3 Fast Ethernet switches that are ideal for SMB or branch offices.

The Netgear ProSafe FSM7226RS is a fully managed 10/100, 24 port switch with two Gigabit Ethernet ports and supporting 32 static routes.

This model also has two dedicated stacking connectors, each providing 5Gbps of full duplex switch-to-switch bandwidth.

A single stack can have up to eight units and 384 ports. The FSM726E has 24,10/100 ports plus two hot-swappable, small form-factor pluggable (SFP) Gigabit interfaces, but no stacking ports.
