PUNE: NetAce Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has launched TimeStretch 1.0, which enables intelligent change detection and notification services. An ex-Microsoft professional with more than 10 years of design, development and consultancy experience founded NetAce.

E-commerce sites are increasingly challenged to create compelling web experiences for their users that will lead to higher site traffic, repeat visitors, and ultimately increased loyalty and user satisfaction. Combining the fact that Internet content is growing exponentially with thousands of new sites and millions of web pages being added daily and people are so stressed for lack of free time, the ability to allow users to dynamically track and manage the information they need to know and when they need it most, can be of huge value to Net users.

TimeStretch is an innovative server-based product that tracks any changes of content (including text, numbers, images etc) on the web and delivers personal notifications through a variety of methods including emails, instant messengers, cellphones, PDAs etc.

The product is capable of monitoring granular changes to web content allowing websites to offer many value added information to their users based on their requirement to build strong loyalty. Using TimeStretch server, websites can allow end-users to choose what they want to know, where they want to know, when they want to know and how they want to know about the information and content of that website in particular and entire web in general.

For example, websites might give options to its users to get notified when new product/service of their interest is available, product of their interest is in stock or out of stock, price of product service is less than or greater than threshold, articles contains particular words/phrases of their interest or even if article is about a particular topic of interest, any info related to weather/traffic/news specific to users and updates when new items in the user defined "search" list results etc.

When registered users receive an email notification telling them that a specific product, service, price, or promotion they were looking for is available, the website site is working for them around-the-clock. This extends the relationship of website to user, beyond time and thus creates a deep bonding between them.

Customers can position themselves as provider of valued added "web services" and thus get farther from competition. Each "web service" can provide creative advertising material for website to attract attention in a crowded field (for eg, messages like "be the first one to know when your favorite book is available on paperback" etc). This should increase the number of new users to visit/register at website at significantly lower customer acquisition cost.

The product is expected to help simplify life online for website users by directly addressing the challenge of info-glut combined with time famine. Website users can now remain on top of information they care about! This will lead to significantly higher repeat customer visits.

Websites will be able to obtain a broad range of user information like content/websites of their interest, products and services of interest with individual price points and strike prices etc. Armed with this data, website and its partners can optimize their offerings and initiatives to harvest the full potential for e-commerce.
