Net4 sets up new subsidiary in Singapore

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Communication services and solutions company Net4 India Ltd today announced the setting up of Net4 Singapore Pte Ltd, its new subsidiary.

The company has also received the Service-Based Operator license in Singapore.

Net4 becomes the first Indian company to acquire this license. The new division aims to manage the wholesale VoIP business from Singapore for its International Market.

The company will establish a new PoP in Singapore for VoIP-related services that includes International Calling Card Service (ICC), Toll Free Services, IP Telephony Services, VPN Voice/data services.

"By creating a subsidiary in Singapore and acquiring the license we are taking a step forward in executing one of the company's growth strategies of significantly increasing our wholesale VoIP business,” said Jasjit Sawhney, chairman and CEO, Net4.
