HackerSafe has already been successfully deployed in several Japanese

corporate houses such as Toyota Corp for protecting their critical data against

possible intrusion from hackers. "The product will be globally marketed by

NeST in USA, Canada, UK, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, India and Australia. NeST is

expecting an overwhelming response to this product from several corporate houses

and departments in banking, stock exchange, atomic energy, space and defense

where the security of data is very critical to their operations", NeST

managing director, N Jehangir said.

HackerSafe goes much beyond the level of firewalls, encryption, IDS and other

conventional security mechanisms to provide a total solution. "It provides

the last and successful line of defense where the conventional technologies

fail," Jehangir said. It protects any kind of data on a machine.

It can also be used as an OS hardening tool, as an extension of the data

usage policy within the organisation or as a last line of defense on web exposed

or internal servers. Among the additional features of the product include remote

management (capable of being managed from a central server), multi-platform

support (Windows, ALX, Linux, HP-UX and Solaris) and ease of administration (the

network administrator can design access policies to suite company needs).
