Ness forms alliance with Brocade

NEW DELHI, INDIA: IT services and solutions provider Ness Technologies has announced that it has formed a strategic alliance with Brocade, networked storage solutions provider that help enterprises connect, share and manage their information.

According to the terms of the agreement, Ness Technologies has established a Research and Development center in Pune, India to support Brocade’s growing File Area Network (FAN) business, Ness said in a statement.

The Ness and Brocade collaboration provides Brocade with expanded resources for the company’s File Area Network technology development, maintenance and test activities.

"We have been very impressed with Ness’ Managed Labs business model and its strategic fit with Brocade’s goal to build rapid market momentum for our File Area Network business,” said Guru Pangal, vice president of FAN Product Development, at Brocade.

“We are very committed to providing Brocade with the highest quality services in the most professional and efficient manner," said Shashank Samant, president, Ness North America. “The new facility in Pune has been designed to support Ness’ growth plans and the increasing complexity of work being undertaken offshore. Our expansion in Pune offers our clients more geographic options and access to a more diverse employee base.”

The Ness India has centers in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune and Chennai. The centers serve clients across North American and European regions providing outsourcing and offshore services. The verticals span Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and high-tech, financial services, BFSI, life sciences, telecom and utilities.
