BANGALORE, INDIA: NEC India, a display, network and IT solutions provider, announced today a new range of portable and eco friendly M Series projectors namely M350X, M300X, M260X , M230X , M300W and M260W.
These models were developed to address the needs of corporate and educational institutions that are on a tight budget, yet require bright wired / wireless network projectors with remote monitoring and control capabilities, said a press release.
The projectors are equipped with HDMI connector, a wired/wireless (option) LAN port and also allows users to connect to a computer using a standard USB cable. The remote control of the projector is also capable of conventional computer mouse operations. The projector also has viewer function that allows one to project data stored on USB memory.
Speaking about the series, Abhilesh Guleria, head, IT Platform & Display Solutions Business at NEC India, said, “We aim to strengthen small and medium businesses and educational institutions in their operations. They ensure higher efficiency in terms of value and features.”
The projectors come equipped with the options of an ‘Auto Eco Mode’, and the ‘Eco2 Mode’. These modes are easily accessible via Eco buttons on the projector and remote control for easy engagement. Additionally, these projectors come with 5000 and 6000 hours of lamp life (in Eco Mode). The M-Series deliver images at a contrast ratio (2000:1) and also feature a carbon savings meter, energy-saving functions such as power save, quick setup and direct power off.
