The U170 is simple to install and set up, has full USB support with high-resolution and full-screen video. The solution is offered in a one-station kit and with plug-and-play simplicity for up to 10 users per PC and enables users to cut computing costs by sharing the computing capacity by enabling multiple users to share a single computer, said a press release.

Manish Sharma, vice-president, NComputing, APAC region said, "NComputing is going to revolutionize the desktop computing usage in India.  India offers second highest potential market after US in the desktop virtualization domain.”

“With the launch of U170, the plug-and-play computing solution will optimize and expand the performance of existing computers. Organizations, schools, colleges and institutions will benefit from the ability to increase their productivity whilst driving down costs,” he added.

The U170 plugs into a standard PC's USB port, and the NComputing vSpace virtualization software enables another user to share that PC. It has connections for the additional user's own peripherals, including keyboard, monitor, and mouse.

Up to nine U170's can be connected to a single PC and still provide a high-definition multimedia experience for every user.

The U170 is extremely easy to set up and is ideal for schools, businesses, small offices, branches, and anyone that needs very low cost computer access, said the release.
