Navision India on expansion mode

MUMBAI: To focus more on the SME segment, Navision India would expand its business in India. The company would double its solution centers in India and open up offices in all major metros of the country.



The company currently has 70 solution centers and has invested £ 3 million till date in India. The company has also launched the Microsoft Business Solution (MBS) Navision version 3.6 in India. Yash Nagpal, Managing Director, Navision India said, "In the last year we have gained confidence of our customers and these new solutions will help our customers to work on our CRM more effectively."



The company currently has 70 solution centers and is planning to increase this number to 150. These solution centers provides training, implementation and customization of Navision's CRM software. Prominent among these companies are Bellsoft, Pricewaterhouse, Mahindra Logisoft, Godrej Infotech, Bluestar Infotech and V2 Infotech. The company is planning to invest £7 million this year that would be used in the training of its customers and opening up of solution centers.



The newly launched MBS - Navision version 3.6 has been specially localized by Navision India to cover a whole new gamut of functions and services, in addition to the previous ones. The solution now additionally covers functions related to Export Import orders and incentives granted by the government, Letter of Credit and all aspects related to sales tax, excise tax and tax deducted at source.
