Naukri app reaches 2.9 lakh downloads within a month of launch

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Naukri.com - India's number one job portal announced that its new Android app has reached more than 2.9 lakh downloads within a month of its launch. The new mobile app is available for free at the Google app store and is currently ranked 134 with a rating of 4.4 stars.

Job seekers' response to the Android app has been overwhelming. With over 4 lakh detailed job description views , 43,000 searches and more than 50,000 applies a day - Naukri's android app has made significant inroads into the mobile phones of job seekers.

It clearly demonstrates that this app has filled the need for a job seeker to reconnoitre for jobs even when he/she is away from a computer. In fact, 23 percent of our job seekers visit Naukri.com from mobile phones.

"A lot of companies today have a prohibition on recruitment sites in their offices and this app circumvents this problem by letting job seekers obtain access to jobs through their mobile phones. Professionals are now just a touch away from their new jobs."
