Recognizing the need for effective manpower development as the key to the growth, NASSCOM would launch an industry wide HR management guideline for the ITeS–BPO industry. The aim to create ‘Best Practices in Ethics Framework’ is to set guidelines, which would help in attracting and retaining talent and solving the issue of attrition to a large extent.

“Education and availability of skilled manpower was another concern in the BPO industry,” said Pramod Basin, CEO of Genpact. He said that Nasscom proposes a Private Public Partnership (PPP) to improve the quality of education, tie-up with educational institutions and to provide curriculum to the colleges in tier 2 and tier 3 cities.
