The over 150 plus nominations received were evaluated by an eminent Jury. The Jury was composed of PK Roy, Editor, Cybermedia Group, Saurabh Srivastava, Chairman CA & Ex-Chairman NASSCOM, Krishan Dhawan, MD Oracle India, S R Rao, Additional Secretary, DIT,  Rajesh Uppal, GM IT & Logistics, Maruti,  Prof. Pankaj Chandra, Director IIM  Bangalore, and Dinesh Kumar, Executive Director & Head IT NTPC.

Some of the key criteria used for the final selection by the Jury were IT Implementation Roadmap, specific details on the type of IT solution deployed within the last two years, investment made in the implementation, timeframe in which the solution was implemented, cost effectiveness, cost leadership initiatives, return on investment achieved, positive impact on shareholder, employee, customer, or supplier experience and innovativeness of implementation etc.

At the felicitation ceremony for winners, Rajdeep Sahrawat, Vice President, NASSCOM said “While there is no doubt that there has been a strong upward bias in the domestic IT market growth during the recent years, India continues to be under invested in IT. This is particularly true of the micro and SME firms. Beyond certain verticals where the IT adoption has been traditionally high, firms in most verticals have not been able to leverage IT as a competitive lever.

Through these awards, we not only acknowledge the IT adoption leaders across several verticals but more importantly showcase how the winners have been able to leverage IT for growth and increasing their competitiveness. The current edition is the sixth in the series and we are pleased that the awards have achieved a high aspirational value among the IT user community.”
