Naresh Ajwani joins VNL

Telephony equipment provider and the makers of WorldGSM- VNL has roped in industry veteran Anaresh Ajwani as its MD. 

Confirming this to CIOL, Ajwani said that his immediate priority would be to grow VNL business and enhance profitability. He, however declined to divulge details.

Ajwani will report to VNL founder and chairman-Rajiv Mehrotra and would take strategic business decisions as well as deal with regulatory issues and government affairs.

Currently, he serves WTTIL-Quippo as regulatory and corporate affairs chief and is the president of the Cyber Cafe Association of India (CCAOI). He is also the executive member of the Internet Service Provider's Association of India (ISPAI).

Ajwani has been closely engaged in various consultation and advisory matters with the government. He is associated with many draft papers on sectoral issues.
