Nandu Pradhan takes over as Onward Novell ED

BANGALORE: Nandu Pradhan has taken over as the executive director of Onward Novell Software (I) Ltd., a joint venture company between Onward Network Technologies Ltd. and Novell Inc., USA. Prior to his appointment to the new post, he was the vice president. According to a company release, Nandu Pradhan, in his new role, would be responsible for all sales, marketing, education, customer services and HR functions and would be reporting to deputy chairman and managing director Harish S. Mehta.

Nandu has been with Onward Novell Software (I) Ltd since its inception and is regarded as a chief architect for growing networking industry in India. Under Nandu's leadership, NetWare gained a market share of around 72 per cent as per the recent independent survey conducted by IDC India. "Nandu brings to his position a wealth of experience, close ties with customers and Indian IT Community, and also a strong drive to create new opportunities for Novell and our customers," said Mr Mehta. "He is the right executive to guide Onward Novell's Business strategy and advance our vision in the new millennium," added Mr Mehta.
