MyGov invites to Design a Logo or Coin a name for the e-Commerce Portal of Ministry of Textiles and win ₹10,000 each

India is a treasure trove of rich and varied handloom and handicraft traditions. Weavers and artisans of India have reserved it passing down their ancestry. Thus, to provide a platform to Indian Handloom, MyGov with the Digital India Corporation is developing an e-commerce portal. The portal will come under the Ministry of Textiles. Here, Handloom weavers and Handicraft artisans can sell their products online. This will, further, pave the way for their financial and social empowerment.

This will also help in promoting their skills while eliminating intermediaries. There are more than 60 Lakhs weavers and artisan registered with Ministry of Textiles. Under this portal, they will get the benefits of sellers.

The Indian Post will provide domestic and international logistic support to these sellers. Further, CSC will provide the handholding support (awareness, training and onboarding of weavers and artisans) at ground level.

This MyGov portal will provide an eco-system for the Indian artisans and weavers to sell their products.

But here’s the catch. MyGov still needs a logo and a name for the portal. So, if you have prowess with words or designing, participate in the competition.

The minimum data size of the image(s) of the logo is 2 MB. Further, no watermark or logo or name should be present on the image. You can participate in the contest by registering on the MyGov platform and uploading designed logo on the creative corner. Please note that the name and logo that you suggest, must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.

Rs. 10,000 each, for the winner.
