With both biometric and strong password technology, the Stealth MXP Bio offers 1-, 2-, or 3-factor authentication for the highest security levels attainable. All authentication processes, including biometrics, are performed completely within the trusted hardware, fully isolated from malicious attacks on the host computer, said a press release.

Going beyond simple secure storage, it offers digital identity and PKI token services ranging from RSA SecurID and OATH OTP to on-board key generation, digital signatures, and secure key and certificate containers.

“The Stealth MXP Bio offers the strongest user authentication available, and is immune to PC-based password attacks. Coupled with its OTP and PKI features, this makes it ideal not just for secure portable storage, but for authentication into the cloud. It’s a do-everything device.” said Lawrence Reusing, CEO of MXI Security.

Incorporating the latest version of MXI Security’s Bluefly processor (www.blueflyprocessor.com), the Stealth MXP Bio offers AES-256 CBC hardware encryption of all on-board data, and an in-hardware malware-proof mode to protect against attack.

It also joins other Stealth products in being the first and only USB drives to meet the NIST SP800-56A Key Agreement Scheme, offering unparalleled protection for host-to-device communications, the release added.
