BANGALORE, INDIA: Muratec, a Japan-based cost performance system solutions provider, on Wednesday announced the inauguration of its latest tech center here.
The company is eyeing a larger share of the Indian market for turn key projects for manufacturing automobile and sheet metal components, said a press release.
The tech center, inaugurated by Yosuke Murata, executive vice president, Murata, is situated in JC Industrial Estate, Kanakapura Road. The centre acts as a demo center and will help Meiban in providing better quality sale support, the release added.
Takahiro Yamada, senior manager of Muratec Machinery Limited, Japan, said, “India has always been a key strategic market for us. We see a great potential for our products in India. We would like grow four times the present share in sheet metal machines and three times in metal cutting machines in 5 years. We strive to achieve these targets by working closely with Meiban Engineering Technologies Pvt Ltd.”
