Under the new agreement, GSI will provide Dollar General with ecommerce technology, payments, fulfillment and customer care services, as well as a broad array of marketing services from GSI’s True Action Network. True Action Network, the full-service ecommerce and digital marketing agency of GSI, will manage and execute a comprehensive suite of marketing programs for Dollar General across multiple channels.

Dollar General will leverage key GSI products and services to operate its ecommerce business, including GSI Webstore for its online storefront; GSI Commerce ExchangeTM, its on-demand infrastructure solution for order management, payments, taxation and fraud prevention services; and ShipQuikSM, its proprietary package delivery program.

With more than 9,600 stores in 35 states, Dollar General has more retail locations than any retailer in the United States, it adds.

“By leveraging GSI’s ecommerce and digital marketing solutions, Dollar General is taking an integrated approach that is key to driving strategy and multichannel sales,” said Damon Mintzer, executive vice president of sales for GSI. “We look forward to helping them launch and build a successful multichannel business – from demand generation to site experience to package delivery.”
