MTS launches dual SIM smartphone Blaze 5.0 for Rs.10,999

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) that provides telecom services under the brand MTS announced the launch of Blaze 5.0 smartphone an EVDO + GSM dual SIM smartphone powered by

Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

It has been designed for today's data hungry internet generation. MTS Blaze 5.0 a 5" full touch display comes with an integrated EVDO and a GSM modem and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).

According to Leonid Musatov, chief marketing and sales officer MTS India, said: "Smartphones today are one ofthe biggest driversof data consumption in the country. Given this reality, MTS India is focused on introducing products and services that are built for a fantastic data experience. Our latest smartphone -Blaze 5.0 sports a 5 inchscreen, which isanidealscreen sizeformultimediaand mobilegaming. It has been powered by the best in class Qualcomm S4 QUAD CORE Processor and has been exclusively designed to cater to the Internet Generation."

Blaze 5.0 provides a long lasting 2500 mAH battery that provides a talk time of up to 9.5 hours and sports an 8 MP auto focus camera and provides a 0.3 MP front camera for video calling.

It comes with gravity, proximity and light sensors providing user capabilities. The external memory of the smartphone can be expanded up to 32 GB.

The smartphone provides exclusive apps created by MTS for ease of use and entertainment.

  • MTS Playground, a music app that lets the customers down load and listen to their favorite songs. Blaze 5.0 also comes with a built-in equalizer which ensures great sound output.

  • MTS TV enables customers to stream over 100 TV channels on their Smartphone.
  • MTS Wizard enables customers to activate their smartass phone, pay phone bills online, customize it and do a lot more.

The smartphone priced at Rs.10,999 comes bundled with an MTS SIM card that provides customers with 100,000 MB data usage with a validity of up to one year on the first recharge of Rs.198.
