MSN follows Yahoo in data services

SEATTLE - Microsoft Corp. said that AT&T Wireless Services Inc.'s mobile Web service subscribers will be able to access its MSN Internet service by the end of the year.

Subscribers to mMode, which runs on top of AT&T Wireless high-speed mobile phone and data network, which launched this week, will be able to access MSN Hotmail, MSN Messenger and content offered by MSN, the two Redmond, Washington-based companies said in a statement.

Internet Media company RealNetworks Inc also announced that its subscription-based news, entertainment and weather information content would be available for AT&T Wireless mMode subscribers.
