MSC software's VPD conference kicks off

BANGALORE, INDIA: MSC Software, multidiscipline simulation solution provider today announced that it continues to be bullish on the Indian market.

In order to cater to the growing demand in the field of product development and design engineering for global and domestic markets, MSC Software announced MSC Software's Student Editions and online certification programme for the development of skilled engineering talent in India.

The announcements were made at the MSC India VPD Conference 2011, being held from 8th September to 9th September 2011 in Bangalore, India.

With rising product development maturity, more and more global companies are establishing their R&D units in India while India Companies are moving from services to product engineering design space.

Leveraging this trend, MSC Software has been at the forefront of several large contracts announced in recent years. By 2012, MSC Software is planning to expand the channel base to 30 and increase headcount to support the growth.
