MS launches Race to Market Challenge

BANGALORE, INDIA: Microsoft, on Monday announced the launch of Race to Market Challenge for the developers on its Windows Marketplace for Mobile.

The official blog for Windows Marketplace mentioned that it has started accepting application submission for this competition, which would start in December. 

It would take the applications on First In, First Out (FIFO) basis from registers developers and ISVs and would start certifying them.

The company says that the certification process would take about ten days time and developers would be able to check on their application during the process through their Developer Dashboard.

The winners of this challenge would get 4 Microsoft Surface tables (Developer Edition), as well online marketing and promotion of their app.

“The Race to Market Challenge is just another reason for developers to get in on the ground floor of the new Windows Marketplace. We’re creating a clear process and new opportunity for developers and ISVs to make money from their investment in innovation,” added the blog.
