BANGALORE, INDIA: Now political parties are setting examples of technology adoption at grass-root levels.
Congress party may use display technologies of Microsoft in order to help the party leaders interact with rural masses in far flung areas of the country while sitting at its headquarters in New Delhi.
"...The Congress party is imagining how to use these kinds of displays with rural, semi-literate or illiterate environment", PTI quoted Microsoft Corporation (India) chairman Ravi Venkatesan as saying.
Microsoft has built a proof of concept for the grand old party to reach out to the masses using the latest display technology, which can be beamed on any surface.
The technology, which does not need servers but requires cameras, allows people to broadcast video which can be projected onto any surface including walls, tabletops and windows, using Internet as a medium.
