NEW DELHI: Microsoft is getting aggressive in the hardware segment and plans to bank on its unique ergonomic designs in keyboards and mouse.

“People are spending more time on the computer, and there is a need for products that offer comfort combined with productivity. Hence, we have launched these ergonomically-designed keyboards and mouse products and are optimistic about the market response. Microsoft will also be offering exchange for the old products,” Mohit Anand, country manager of Microsoft Entertainment and devices division told CyberMedia News.

Microsoft Hardware has launched a campaign across the country for creating awareness about the products among both the end-users and channel partners. The campaign, which started in Delhi, will be taken to another 11 cities across the country.

“According to a research report -- Ergonomics, Work, and Health, by Stephen Pheasant -- it has been proved that ergonomically designed products increase the productivity and performance of the employee by over 25 per cent. We have launched this campaign ‘Microsoft Lao, Haath Bachao’, to communicate the importance of taking care of oneself especially one’s hands,” he added.
