Mro-Tek Chairman and Managing Director S Narayanan said,

"This tie-up now, enables us to provide a more comprehensive solution to the SOHO

markets and ISPs. We would be offering three prime products of Cobalt for our customers in

India, namely Cobalt Cube, Cobalt Nasraq and Cobalt Raq."

"These products are specifically designed for small

offices that need simple, low-priced, internet/intranet server and take maximum advantage

of their limited bandwidth. We found that there is a need for such products in the growing

Indian small & medium enterprises, ISPs, educational institutions and small offices

that have limited resources," he continued.

The Cobalt Cube helps small to medium businesses, schools,

and government organizations easily achieve networking capabilities such as Internet

connectivity, email, web publishing, and workgroup collaboration at a low cost.

Schools--especially middle and high schools--will be able to provide cost effective

communication solutions linking parents, students and teachers by e-mail and enabling them

to participate in discussion groups. "The Cobalt Nasraq is a simple and

cost-effective way to add more storage capacity to networks. The Nasraq is designed to

provide reliable storage solutions for networks operating in small businesses, offices and

company departments. Users can instantly add up to 32 GB of storage space with a single

rack unit and connect directly to existing networks and servers. The Nasraq is

pre-configured for Microsoft, Mac and Unix based networks and can be integrated into an

existing NT domain User, group, and share based security networks."

With Raq, ISPs can deploy a Raq as a dedicated server for

individual clients. The Raq delivers web hosting, e-mail services, file transfer services,

virtual domain support allowing ISPs to devote a single server to a single customer,

rather than hosting hundreds of customers on a common server.
