MRO-TEK Q3 net up 102%

BANGALORE: MRO-TEK Ltd has announced a 102 percent increase in net profit to Rs 5.6 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2004 as against a net profit of Rs 2.77 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The company reported total revenue of Rs 27.59 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2004 as compared to Rs 26.17 crore in the corresponding period last year. The total revenue for nine-month period ending December 31, 2004 is Rs 88.75 crore, against Rs 76.30 crore for period ending December 31, 2003, an increase of 16 percent.






"Our revenue came from across-the-broad strength of our business to provide last mile access to telecom service provider and enterprises," said MRO-TEK Ltd CMD S Narayanan. "And our long-term approach to growing new businesses is paying off. eSONA-100 has been deployed in India with a few customers and we are closely monitoring performance of the product and are immensely satisfied with the results. Also few evaluations are in process in Japan and Latin America," he added.





Narayanan further added, "We continue to grow in strength with our last mile solutions, switching and routing businesses, as well as traction for our products in the Ethernet first mile. We see incredible potential for our innovation to help businesses, individuals and governments around the world accomplish their goals, and we will continue to be one of the top innovators in our industry."
