MRO-TEK posts 31% increase in revenue

BANGALORE: MRO-TEK Limited has registered revenues of Rs 16.75 crore, for quarter ending June 30, 2002. This represents an increase of 31 percent to the corresponding period of last fiscal with profit after tax at Rs 1.19 crores, an increase of 50 percent compared to Rs 79.50 lakhs of last year.



"Despite a sluggish and challenging market environment we are beginning to see positive signs. Huge amount of interests among the basic service providers to implement our last mile solutions on their networks was witnessed during the quarter." said MRO-TEK Chairman and Managing Director, S Narayanan. "We have been able to successfully innovate ourselves by identifying new technologies and have strengthened our product portfolio by adding new products. We have continued work in a cost-effective manner delivering better value proposition to customers.", he added



The company’s partnering MD, H Nandi said, "The opportunities for growth in our business is boundless more than ever before. Considering today’s slow market, our success depends on our ability to execute effectively in our markets, manufacturing facility and our offices in India, Singapore and Malaysia to serve our clients better."
