Mphasis names new director

BANGALORE, INDIA: MphasiS, a provider of applications services, on Monday announced the appointment of Rajiv Singh as the regional director for India & SAARC countries.

Singh will play a pivotal role in augmenting sales and strengthening client relationships in this region, said a press release.

Singh brings with him over 23 years of management expertise. Prior to joining MphasiS, Singh was the president of TATA Communications Banking InfraSolutions Ltd (TCBIL), TATA Group’s venture in banking services, which he initiated and fortified.

Singh has also set up and led Diebold India as its managing director, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Diebold Inc.US.

He was also the managing director of CA (India & SAARC Countries), the Indian operations of Computer Associates Inc. U.S., and contributed extensively to the growth of their India operations, the release added.

Singh has a B.E degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITs- Pilani), and a Diploma in Business Management from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management.

He has also completed courses in Global Advanced Management Program from the Kellogg School of Management, North Western University, Chicago, U.S.A. and Leadership program from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, U.S.A, the release added.
