MphasiS opens GCC Center in Pune

MUMBAI, INDIA: MphasiS, a provider of applications services, remote infrastructure services and business process outsourcing services, on Wednesday launched its Global Command and Control Center (GCCC) in Pune.

The center further expands MphasiS’ infrastructure outsourcing capability and will extend services to customers in India and global markets including the U.S., Europe, and Asia Pacific Japan, said a press release.

The GCCC is an integrated infrastructure outsourcing services platform delivering Remote Infrastructure Monitoring (RIM) Services. This includes seamless remote monitoring ofIT infrastructure, security and Network operations located worldwide.

The GCCC integrates expertise, a tooling framework, an IT services methodology, and innovative management technology to provide best in class RIM services. The MphasiS RIM platform leverages the HP toolset, combined with infrastructure and a skilled resource base in Pune, said the release.

"The GCCC is an important addition to our already comprehensive RIM portfolio, which will enhance our infrastructure outsourcing capabilities. This key investment will help customers leverage our comprehensive end-to-end services in the RIM domain and accelerate our direct sales efforts. The GCCC will position us strongly in the stand alone RIM domain, selective out tasking and selective outsourcing opportunities.” Said P. A. The GCCC will begin with house over 600 highly technically trained staff supporting over 450 clients, globally. MphasiS Pune, currently has over 6,000 employees and 2,000 of these are dedicated to the infrastructure outsourcing business.
