TAIPEI, TAIWAN: Mouser Electronics, Inc. announced the introduction and availability of the new Freescale Kinetis E-series of microcontrollers.
The new Freescale Kinetis E-Series is based on the 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0+ core and features 5V operation and 5V tolerant I/O. The Cortex-M0+ series of 32-bit microcontrollers targets low- to mid-range microcontroller applications.
The new Freescale Kinetis E-Series microcontroller family from Mouser Electronics targets applications such as white goods and industrial machinery, along with equipment commonly operated in high-noise environments. Large-pitch packaging and high Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protection allows for simple single-layer PC board designs and reduces the need for external circuit protection components. This results in lower system costs.
Features of the Freescale Kinetis E-series from Mouser include:
* 32-bit 48MHz ARM Cortex-M0+ Core.
* 2.7V to 5V operation.
* 5V tolerant I/O.
* High electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection.
* Up to 64KByte Flash.
* Up to 4KByte RAM.
* Up to 256Bytes EEPROM.
