Motorola fixes issues faced in Moto G handsets

BANGALORE, INDIA: Motorola said it has resolved the IMEI number verification issues occured in some of the Moto G devices recently.

The device maker has issued a statement this evening on its " target="_blank">Facebook page, that all the Moto G devices that reflects the IMEI number starting with 3533, are now registered with all network operators.

Some Moto G users, who purchased the phone recently in India have reported that they have been facing network issue with the handsets.

Three days back, Motorola admitted the issue on its " target="_blank">Facebook page and said that they have uncovered an activation problem with some Moto G devices sold in India. The impacted handsets' IMEI numbers were not registered with carriers, said Motorola.

Motorola also provided replacement/refund option to the affected users through Flipkart, its exclusive retail partner in India.

As the network issue has been resolved by Motorola, the affected users can simply restart the device to connect to the carrier. Users can also dial 1800-102-2344 or visit the Motorola service centers for further support related queries.
