BANGALORE, INDIA: Flipkart teased the phone enthusiasts last month with these words: “There’s a Moto beast coming your way”. Well, the beast has arrived now. Motorola has announced the launch of the Moto Turbo, which is the Indian variant of the recently announced Moto Maxx or the DROID Turbo which is a Verizon exclusive U.S. version of it.

The 64GB variant of the Moto Turbo is now available for pre-orders on March 9 on Flipkart. The phone is priced at Rs. 41,999 and comes with a Turbo charging feature that gives you up to seven additional hours in just 15 minutes.

Combined with Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor and a long-lasting, fast-charging 3900 mAh battery, the  phone allows you to do more with your device.

Running on Android Lollipop, Moto Turbo incorporates the same Moto software experiences that are available on the new Moto X.

The phone flaunts a 5.2-inch Quad HD (1440p) display and a 21 MP camera that can capture stunning pictures and movie-quality 4K video. The front camera is of 2 MP. Plus, you get 3 GB RAM and 64GB of storage to do more with your phone.

On the outside, Moto Turbo is designed with premium ballistic nylon and DuPont Kevlar fiber- a metalized glass fiber for a durable, smooth and glossy finish. It’s a high-quality, durable material with a distinctive texture and is five times stronger than steel. The water-repellent coating protects the smartphone from accidental water spills or an unexpected downpour.
