Wouldn't you give anything for a vacation by the beach where a mobile network cannot reach you? Well as it turns out, you and me aren't the only ones. According to research conducted Intel and MSI International reveals that most of the people surveyed unplug from all gadgets while on a holiday.
The study conducted in March 2016, surveyed 1,504 internet users between ages 21 and 54 in the US.
More than half - 57 percent - of men said they did plan to be disconnected, compared to 44 percent of women. More interestingly, when looking at age, the older the internet user, the less likely they were to have anticipated on unplugging while away from home. More than three-fifths of those aged between 51 and 54 said they had not considered any unplugged vacationing, compared to 44 percent of people in the 21 to 30 age group.
Ultimately, the Intel research uncovered that most people (84 percent), regardless of gender or age, do end up connecting to the internet at some point while on vacation—though not necessarily the same vacation they planned to be unplugged.
