Moser Baer FY05 net down 83.5%

NEW DELHI: Moser Baer has posted a fall of 83.5 percent in net earnings after tax (including deferred tax impact) to Rs 58.38 crore for the financial year ending March 31, 2005, as compared to Rs 352.9 crore in FY 04. Gross revenues for FY 05 stood at Rs 1,354.65 crore, representing a decrease of 14.6 percent over Rs 1,585.68 crore in the last financial year.






For the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2005, the company reported a 75.9 percent fall in net earnings after current year's tax (including deferred tax impact) to Rs 24.52 crore from Rs 101.9 crore in the last financial year. Gross revenues for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2005 recorded an increase of 10.2 percent to Rs 422.11 crore as compared to the corresponding period last year.
