Montclair State Univ signs up Cognizant

MUMBAI, INDIA: Cognizant has been selected by Montclair State University to revitalize its finance organization and deliver superior experience to its students, staff, customers, and partners.

As part of the multiyear agreement, Cognizant will implement Oracle's PeopleSoft Financial Management System and provide IT infrastructure support in areas ranging from finance and accounting, to procurement and grants for the duration of the implementation.

The new system, as explained, is designed to leverage world-class financial processes and best practices to help Montclair State University improve productivity, agility, and customer service. By delivering business-critical information in a timely and efficient manner, the system will enable Montclair State University to make optimal financial decisions and develop effective short- and long-term strategies to support the University's growth and emerging needs.
