Modis comes to India

BANGALORE: Modis Incorporated, the information technology services subsidiary of the $2-billion Jacksonville, Florida-based Modis Professional Services Inc, has established its presence in India by opening a representative office in Bangalore.

"We are excited about our presence in India because of the tremendous potential India has to offer our company," said Modis Incorporated vice-president Chris Stanley. Modis offers a full range of services across many technology platforms such as application development, enterprise software services, and technical support in mainframe, client server, and Web-based technology, besides information technology consulting services. Modis is exploring various options such as setting up a development centre in the country

and entering into joint ventures with software firms to outsource software projects for its clients.
