Modi Xerox launches myFax with answering machine

Modi Xerox Ltd launched the new myFax series of fax
machines in India for the SOHO segment and homes.

The machines come in two configurations-X-7242A with a
digital answering machine and X-7242, without the answering machine.

MyfaxA, priced at Rs 10,990, comes with a display and an
in-built telephone handset that can store frequently dialed numbers for abbreviated
dialing.

A reception timer programs the machine to go into fax mode
at pre-programmed times. It can be programmed to differentiate between incoming telephone
and fax calls.

It also has an in-built digital answering machine that
enables the dynamic storage and retrieval of messages without any rewinding or forwarding.

A remote access facility allows the user to dial up and
access the machine to playback messages from any touch tone phone from anywhere in the
world.
