Modi Peripherals expands portfolio

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Expanding its product portfolio, New Delhi-based Modi Peripherals announced the addition of Pitney Bowes to its current list. The vendor has appointed Modi as the exclusive regional distributor (RD) of its entire range of products in the North region.

Pitney Bowes is a mailstream technology company that helps organizations to simplify and manage the complex flow of mail and documents (both print and electronic), so that it's more integrated, effective and efficient. The company has recently taken to the RD model for India, and Modi Peripherals is the first RD they have announced in the country. The names of RDs in other regions have yet to be announced.

Cisco has also roped in the distributor for its home products, for Delhi region. Anuj Modi, Director, Modi Peripherals stated, “As a distribution company we are focusing on IT products that will give good bottomline to our partners and be a value-add to our customers.”

Modi added that they currently have about 800 plus resellers in their network, and will look at expanding this number in the next 20 days. In the meantime the new products will be pushed through the current set of resellers. Modi Peripherals has three branches in the North—one each in UP, Haryana and Delhi.
