Modernizing Medicine's EMA Plastic Surgery and EMA Cosmetic are cloud-based, touch-based mobile EMR systems designed specifically for plastic and cosmetic surgeons by plastic surgeons. Using the native iPad app, doctors can access EMA virtually anywhere at any time. Since no two surgeons practice the same way, Modernizing Medicine built EMA as an adaptive learning system, which adjusts to each surgeon's unique practice style.

EMA includes the EMA Interactive Anatomical Atlas, a high-resolution, zoomable, three-dimensional illustration tool that enables surgeons to manipulate multiple layers of body images while mapping over 36,000 points on the human body for accurate notation of findings. In addition, Modernizing Medicine will offer demonstrations of features that resulted in EMA being named the #1 tablet EHR by Software Advice including the intuitive user interface and the EMA Virtual Exam Room.

Dr. Tim Sayed, medical director of EMA Plastic Surgery and EMA Cosmetic, will also be on-hand to discuss these features and important industry trends, including preparing for the switch to ICD-10.

Attendees at the ASAPS annual meeting may visit the Modernizing Medicine booth #233 to learn more about the benefits of EMA to both physicians and patients, as well as to experience EMA Plastic Surgery and EMA Cosmetic firsthand.
